Installing VU Proxy
You do not have to be present at the VU to read and search in the e-files of the university library or to download articles. It is possible to work from other places, as long as you have a VU-net-id.
To be able to access those files, the settings of your browser has to be changed. In these files you can find the instructions to make the necessary changes.
If the popup-inlogscreen does not appear or there is a notification about the IP-adres, the browser has not been adjusted properly. Check your settings again. Then close all windows and open the browser again.
Does the inlogscreen appear, but it keeps asking for a password (with a error, "FOUT/Cache toegang niet toegestaan"), than the problem is the password. Try to change your password via top.vu.nl
