Standard-bearer
For the academic year 2026–2027, Alice Mendes de Matos has been elected as the standard bearer of the 62nd Board of the VCSVU. Alice is a third-year Bachelor’s student in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Throughout her studies, she has been actively involved in the association in various ways. She has served on multiple committees and has dedicated herself to the role of confidential counsellor. Her commitment, enthusiasm, and involvement have made her a familiar and valued member of the association.
It is therefore a great honour that this dedicated and engaged lady has taken on the role of standard bearer. With her warm personality, strong sense of responsibility, and love for the association, she will undoubtedly carry on this tradition with pride.
